5 things I have learned in class

We learned about biomes, I had never even hear that word before not even RL! But now I know.
We learned about cinquaine poems which I had never heard of before too!
I have learned PATIENCE. Well kinda. The whole of Second Life teaches patience. It is hard to stick at sometimes because of lag and other things but some of the people are just too nice to give up because of silly lag.
I have learned Miss Nevy can make some really funny noises in voice, lol
And hmmm… Oh yes I have learned that dogs are people too!

If Cows gave root beer instead of milk?

I had to read this one over and over 'cos I thought I had got the wrong end of the stick like I did with the endangered species journal!! But it seems this is what Miss Nevy REALLY wanted us to write about so here I go…

If cows gave root beer instead of milk… first of all I'd be happy! Because here in England we don't have a lot of root beer, you have to go to special stores for it and it's always too expensive, and I love root beer ever since I tried it years ago in America! But we do have lots of cows in England. So at first I would be laughing!

But then I think, where would I get milk from! I use milk lots! On my cereal! In my coffee! On its own after a nice sammitch! For some of these things I guess I could use fake milk, or even milk from other animals (tho that makes me squeamish!). But for a nice big glass of milk on its own after cookies or sammitches, I'm sorry, nothing compares to yummy cow's milk!! So in conclusion I vote no on cows giving root beer instead of milk! I will just learn to have root beer on special occasions only!

Autumn!

I LOVE Autumn. Let me count the ways…

1. The temperature is just right! I get hayfever in the Summer and my long hair makes me itch even more to the point I think about getting it all cut off so you know it must be bad! And in the Winter though I love Christmas and everything sometimes it just gets TOO DARN COLD but in Autumn it is just perfect. If it gets a little chilly we put the fire on and it's cosy. Those are the perfect nights.

2. It's pretty! Even though leaves falling off trees is kinda like dying which is sad, is there ever a prettier dying than the reds, oranges, and browns of autumn? When the gentle wind comes along and whooshes them all up it can be sort of spooky but it's just all so pretty that I love it.

3. Speaking of Spooky, Halloweeeeeen! I have mentioned this already in my blog so you know how much I love it, but the closer it gets, the more excited I becomes!

4. Only a week after Halloween here we have Guy Fawkes Night which I love almost as much. This is the night we remember when a man tried to asplode the Houses of Parliament in London. We burn a Guy which is a big doll dressed as him and set off fireworks to remember the asplosions that might've been. I guess we are sposed to remember how he was stopped and so we don't think about doing the same thing but I know a lot of people who would love to see the Houses of Parliament asplode and I think that's why we keep setting off fireworks!!!

5. THEN at the end of November is a holiday that I don't really celebrate because I am not American but I sort of do anyway. It is Thanksgiving when America remembers the Pilgrims celebrating the harvest and inviting Native Americans to join them and also just give thanks in general for whatever they are thankful for. That last part is the part I like and why I sort of celebrate it too because being thankful is something everyone should celebrate. I like all the food that goes with it too and I have a Thanksgiving sammitch! which is turkey and sausage and bacon and stuffing and cranberry sauce all stuffed into two pieces of bread hehe :) And I watch Thanksgiving movies like Pieces of April, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Addams Family Values and Home for the Holidays. This is also when Christmas officially begins in my world too… but I will save that for another blog I am getting ahead of myself!!!

If I Were a Mouse?

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in so long! I am about to catch up so BRRRACE YOURSELVES!

If I were a mouse I would be too small to see most things! I guess I would see people's shoes and socks so that would be how I told them apart. I would see the food they dropped and maybe some of it would be good for dinner so I might have to learn which pairs of shoes and socks dropped the best food so I could pounce and grab it before any other critters did! I would also see insects and pets but they would be GINORMOUS so I don't think I would like it. Even a cute kitty might be scary at that size especially because they would look at me and think I was dinner! Well I have scared myself too much about this one so that is all.

What September Reminds Me Of…

Hmm what does September remind me of?
September is when finally Summer is all gone and it starts getting really dark outside ready for Autumn. I start getting very excited about Halloween coming up because it is one of my favourite holidays (with Christmas and New Year and Easter and my Birthday). I start thinking about my costumes (yes, costumeS, hehe, I make Halloween last all week now and wear as many costumes as I can!) and how I will decorate my land, which I need to start soon so it is done in time. Here's how it looked last year!

If Children Ruled the World!

"All our greatest wishes are granted, let us sing, let innocence reign
All our prayers are finally answered, blessed and free of all pain
Towers of fire rise ever higher, magical flags will be unfurled
The demons are gone, the young are the strong
The night that children rule the world
When the children rule the world…"

That is from a musical I love called Whistle Down the Wind. I wanna say that if children ruled the world things would be better! But the thing is, even though children can be really so much smarter than grownups think, and a lot of the time even smarter than some grownups, there are just as many bad kids as there are bad adults so things would be just about the same I think. Children SHOULD be given more say in how things are run though… especially the smart ones! We could have a test I guess to pick those out.

A picture of Spain (taken by a spaceman I guess).

Once thing is for sure, the world wouldnt end or anything if children were in charge. Spain had a queen once that was only 12 and the last time I checked Spain was still there!

Anna Paquin as Queen Isabella, she did not break Spain!

Which quality best describes my life!

EXHIBIT A: Parachuting!

The quality that best describes my life is… RANDOM! When I get up in the morning I usually have NO IDEA what I will do with myself and even if I do I usually end up doing something else hehe! I just do whatever comes into my head that sounds fun. This is how most of my most happy memories of Second Life always came about :)

EXHIBIT B: This is me dressed as a bananana with maracaracas next to a coke machine while my big sis was singing "Coke and Bananas" by Barry Manilow!

If I could be any Animal…

There are lots of animals I would like to try being but none so cute as the slow loris! If you were to ask me right now to pick one it would definitely be this one. Whenever I got sad I would just look in the mirror and laugh for the rest of the day. If you know of a cuter animal let me know!
